Washington D.C.
July 11-12, 2010 – Renaissance Mayflower
Washington DC is the nation’s capital. Located on the north bank of the Potomac River and bordered by Virginia and Maryland, DC occupies just 68 square miles and has a humid subtropical climate. This can be loosely interpreted to help one understand that DC has some of the most spectacular demonstrations of the four seasons. The summer is warm with temperatures in the mid 80’s. You will find some of the country’s best architecture in the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Natural Cathedral, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, National Archives, Washington Monument and of course the United States Capitol. Each of these edifices and more warrants a visit on a tour of this city. A visit to tour our nation’s capital is always very much worth the time.
The Mayflower Renaissance Washington DC Hotel is a beautiful historic building built in 1925. During the presidency of Harry Truman he named it the nation’s “second best address”. We are specially treated with being able to hold our CME course at this location.
The Mayflower hotel is located 4 blocks north of the Whitehouse which is almost next door to the National Mall and the Smithsonian Institution. If you’re seeking good health you can take a walking tour of this entire area during a day’s outing.
There are three area airports:
Ronald Reagan Washington National (Airport code: DCA) 5 miles south of hotel
Washington DC/Dulles International (Airport code: IAD) 25 miles west of hotel
Baltimore Washington/Thurgood Marshall International (Airport code: BWI) 55 miles north of hotel.
You can book your Mayflower Renaissance Washington DC Hotel room by clicking here.

Air travel to Las Vegas is usually cheaper than any other destination in the continental US. We still smile and wonder at the reason why this happens. The airport (airport code: LAS) is located at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip and is a brief 5 – 10 minute taxi or shuttle ride to the hotel.
You will most surely be dazzled by Vegas at night, but the sheer number of things to see and do can seem overwhelming. A little advance planning will help you enjoy your Vegas trip.
Dining:
The evolution of Vegas’ dining scene has been nothing short of remarkable. For years food here was little more than an all-u-can-eat buffet. In the past most hotels has at least one restaurant to keep their customers from going hungry, but no one from times past could predict the culinary revolution that has occurred. Today Las Vegas is recognized as one of the world’s great dining destinations with a long list of renowned chefs and amazing spectacular restaurants that are remarkable for their lavishness, architecture, creativity, design and most importantly the food!
